TRA Medical Imaging Foundation Greatest Need

A gift to Greatest Need helps fund the next generation of imaging professionals. These funds are allocated for general operating expenses of the organization’s mission, as guided by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. They provide flexible resources for scholarships, clinical training, certification assistance, and career exploration programs that strengthen the medical imaging workforce in our region. Ultimately, a donation to Greatest Need will enhance the Foundation’s ability to expand its impact.

 

TRA Medical Imaging Foundation Education Fund
Our Education Fund is dedicated to advancing healthcare and education. Its primary objectives are to enhance access to medical imaging services and foster workforce development. This encompasses raising awareness about Imaging Sciences as viable career paths, providing scholarships, mentoring, and job shadowing opportunities, and supporting and advancing other programs that contribute to improving access to medical imaging services and offering workforce development opportunities.
 

Dr. William B. Jackson Scholarship Fund
The William B. Jackson Scholarship Fund is dedicated to providing financial support and mentorship to individuals aspiring to careers in imaging sciences. This scholarship is tailored to assist imaging professionals who encounter financial constraints, ensuring they acquire the requisite education and training to establish themselves in the field. Through the provision of scholarships and guidance, the fund endeavors to cultivate a skilled and diverse workforce in radiological technology, thereby addressing the pressing shortage of healthcare professionals in the United States.

MobileMammo NW
MobileMammo NW is the inaugural mobile mammography program, established by the TRA Medical Imaging Foundation, serving Washington State’s South Sound region. Donations designated to MobileMammo NW mammography screening services to the uninsured and underinsured, support community screening and educational events, and assist in funding uncompensated programs and patient care coordination, including transportation assistance. Furthermore, ongoing support will be allocated to capital reserves to sustain and expand the program.
